Josh's Mission Call

I love JOSH HARRIS!!!!! This is a video of him opening his call. Kenya.... WOW!!!! His mission also includes Tanzania. Josh is the nicest sweetest boy who really loves the gospel. What an Amazing experience of joy to spread the good news that Christ lives and that his church exists on the world today. We are lead by living prophets and apostles just like in the time of the Bible. The truth has been restored. We can literally have a relationship with our Heavenly Father who will guide us through our very individualized personal revelations and answer our prayers. I Love you buddy and am so proud to be your sister!

The churches website( http://www.lds.org ) explians:

When we experience the blessings of gospel living, we naturally want to share those blessings with others. The Lord spoke of the joy that comes into our lives when we share His gospel:

"If it so be that you should labor all your days in crying repentance unto this people, and bring, save it be one soul unto me, how great shall be your joy with him in the kingdom of my Father!

"And now, if your joy will be great with one soul that you have brought unto me into the kingdom of my Father, how great will be your joy if you should bring many souls unto me!" (D&C 18:15–16).

After His Resurrection, the Lord commanded His disciples to "go . . . and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost" (Matthew 28:19). In fulfillment of this command, able young men in the Church have a duty to prepare spiritually, physically, and emotionally to serve as full-time missionaries. Single women and mature couples also have the opportunity to serve full-time missions.

Missionary work also includes helping and supporting those who join the Church. As instructed by President Gordon B. Hinckley, each new member of the Church needs three things: a friend, a responsibility, and nurturing with "the good word of God" (Moroni 6:4; see also "Converts and Young Men," Ensign, May 1997, 47–50).

Freedom days fun

Tonight we went to freedom days (center street provo) there are tons of booths with food and crafts. Kylee and I went to Guru's for dinner... amazingly good food and health food too :) I had a chicken lime pesto mixture in a yummy spinach tortilla.- DELICIOUS!!! While we were there random.... we had bagpipers come in a play a few songs. After we went to our buddy Brandon's concert ( Monkey Grinders http://www.monkeygrinderlive.com/) weird but fascinating... Brandon is a natural entertainer... I think we could watch him all the time. The girl at the bottom that you haven't seen on the blog before is the new RS pres. Her name is Jessica and she is wonderful. Love that girl!!! I want her to marry my good friend Dave Smith. Good news: I have 2 interviews lined up for Monday morning. Hopefully they go really well and they want to pay me more then they have posted. Everyone could pray and if anyone that is reading this is really wealthy contact me and I'll tell you where you can send me money :)

What a day!!!

It started great. Lamp on porch. Then....

I went to sales meeting: they are getting rid of my entire division not to mention if you want to stay selling they will be only commission and no salary. AWESOME... not so fun. I have a job until Aug 1st. So I'm job hunting.

It was my day off and I needed to play so after a few networking e-mails working on my resume I went to the Pool with Kylee. I came back went to the temple and then met up with some friends for dinner. The waiter was hilarious.... Yes we have his number, yes we are going to his dance party next Monday, Yes he is only 4' 10" tall... okay I exaggerate but he is really short. The restaurant is called Gloria's It is very authentic Italian and if you live around here you HAVE TO GO!! Great food and family owned... charming! Not to mention AMAZING food. Then we went to our friend Brandon's Jazz gig at a local "live band" place (Muse. For those who live here) He is so fun to watch and the music was great. We made a request for him to sing and he did- thanks bud! I have a love for Jazz. It ended up being a great day.

I feel really at peace about finding a job. Maybe something better will even come up :) Keep your eyes and ears open for me.
