This year has been great. My favorite part is that is has been really relaxed. Forget the big dinners and cleaning and worrying about the to do and lets order pizza and watch an entire season of survivor every Christmas.
When your single the holidays usually consist of feeling a bit left out somewhere in the middle of the kids and the real s who are married. Not to mention the 4 single friends you do have that get engaged over the holidays. But this year.... my friends are already married and I just don't care. I loved it and didn't even feel sad one time :) Hooray for single life!
Santa was overly generous and I'll be forever grateful. I got a camera and soon when my new laptop comes you'll be seeing pics! When I have pics I post more and you'll hear more stories. Much love and happy new year

What would you do if you didn't have any fear?
- Tell the men I love that it would really be a good idea if we were more than just friends
- Go back to work in real estate full time (still teach of course!)
- Plan an entire summer adventure in Europe ( specifically: Greece & Spain)

So I started a new job on Monday. I felt really good about it in the interview and was impressed by the owners. Yesterday was the first day selling and today the pulled everyone in and told us that it wasn't going to work out.... gave us a job offer that is 100% commission and changed the job description completely (to something a lot less appealing than the original offer) so back to the hunt. If you know of anything you could send it my way or you could just pray hard! Love you people! Trusting that the Lord is leading me to something better :)

If you ever have a chance to see this play... do it! It was pretty dang amazing. I went with my friend Dane last Saturday and we were both blown away by how good it was. It even made me go read the bible to answer my questions about some of the things the play brought up.
You have seen Dane before on the blog he went to Vegas with me twice and he was pictured in a post where I was feeding him spaghetti. To be honest I had misjudged Dane initially but as I've gotten to know him I find myself loving him more and more. We had a great time and he is a great listener. So glad we got to have such a fun week! Other fun things we did last week included: caroling at a rest home, festival of trees, & an orchestra concert. We're doers, we do things :)

For FHE tonight we went and saw Blindside (Mom, Dad, Spencer, Sam, Solita and I) . This was a must see... maybe my favorite movie of all time! It didn't even have a romantic love story in it! It was funny and refreshing and inspiring and lovely and made me cry. I would marry Michael Oher. I want one of those big marshmallows that look unstoppable on the outside. You will love the story and fall in love with all the characters. Go see it and bring me with you!
I loved this part where she read to them. I remember mom reading to us growing up and it's still one of my favorite things ever to be read to. Mom would sit in the hall and all our doors would be open so we could all read whatever chapter book we were into. Dad would yell and say that's enough but usually we could get one more chapter out of her. Love you Mom... thanks for reading to us!
I love hanging with the fam... there is really nothing better. Solita makes me think I might have liked a sister. She is pretty fun. She likes to play little games with us and lays all over us ( she fits right in!) We chased each other down the theater hall and she wouldn't let go of my puffy vest but whenever I would hold onto her jacket she would freak. It was fun.

To the really nice guy I interviewed with and promised me a job offer so quickly after the craziness,
To my family who I love and had a great thanksgiving with. We saw Blindside tonight and let me tell you... I think I liked it more than remember the titans! people go see it!!! To Noelle who taught my class, to Braden for the fun and legal help, for Jacob for being man extrodinaire and helping me and the fam with pretty much everything, to the cute boy who has been texting me that I haven't met yet (I'll let you know when I do), To my roommate Kara who got engaged and still asked me how my day was, to ky for putting up with me all the time and loving me still, to my trainer who makes me laughs, to the tv show biggest loser for making me cry and feel like I can do it, to Dane & Ladd for making me feel extra loved at church on sunday and sitting by me, for the guy who did my nails today that made me feel like a girl, to travis & Kristina for calling to see who the job thing was going, for the BYU football team who won!, for Caroline who came and played and is a great listener, for peanut m & m's becasue they're delicious.

Crazy fun and crazy sad.
First the sad : I am no longer with Bidsync... its a long sad story that maybe one day when everything has settled I'll tell you. I'll miss a lot of my fun co-workers they are great. With that being said I'm praying that I can find a job that will allow me to teach still. If you know of anything I'd love to hear about it. Something better will come up soon right?
Now to the FUN: Thusday night my friends drew and heather came up from SLC and we had super yummy potluck: to die for sweet chili salmon, ginger citrus popcorn balls, yummy pizza with marinated tomotes, feta and olives. I felt boring with my spinich salad. I want to eat with them everynight! Not only was the food amazing but the company was even better. I love being with them. We giggle and enjoy each other and It makes me want to always be around people that love and accept me. It's great to have such great lasting friends.
After that Mom and I went to twilight. Can you say Taylor Lautner? Delicious! Enough said.
Friday night I went to Peter Brionholt with Dane, Brandon and Joanna. Also love these people BIG. After the show we grabbed food at Red Robin. Dane and Brandon are roommates - hard to flirt with 2 roommates at once... I'm only kinda kidding ;)
Saturday I went to The Christms Carol with Braden and Lehi Block... thanks for renting out the theater :) Later on that night Braden and I had a chance to catch up. It was great to chat and laugh and get caught up on what's going on. Always good to see him.
Sunday was Dane's birthday was we had lunch at my house with Joanna, Dane, Brandon, Jacob, Ashley, Chelsea V and Natasha. I brought over mom's plate and stole a table cloth and that was fun to have a place to sit. Normally we are strewn all over the couches and floor.
Today I haven't felt steller so I slept alot. Hoping I feel much better tomorrow... I teach and have about $350 of flowers ordered- I know! FUN!!!

Well Josh I do send you e-mails and I have a blog so you can's say that you wonder if I'm alive! You're brothers on the other hand.... So mom and dad can see that I do write you I'm posting it here so that I don't get another call from mom or e-mail from dad chastising me!
Life is good. I've had a real low key weekend which is kinda nice once in a while. We had stake conference today the theme was service.... my new stake pres is rad. He is a dentist and goes on a few dental missions every year. While getting ready for the Saturday night session I burnt my finger really bad on my straightener. I dropped it on accident and out of natural reaction went to catch it and was sad that I did :( I feel asleep with my finger on ice.
I have a fun and busy week ahead.
Monday: traffic school for not making a full and complete stop- hopefully there will be a cute boy I can sit next too!
Tues: Trainer ( I went back to my trainer that I love from Brazil @ Gold's last week- I'm so sore!!)
Wed: PW food party at mom's
Thursday: Trainer and Going to "new moon" the new twilight movie- Jacob( the werewolf) is shirtless most of the movie :)
Friday: Peter Brineholt (local guy) Concert and Braden gets into town that night from Stanford. It'll be fun to catch up with him.
Love life: today I don't really love anyone in particular. I could list about 5 boys that I think are darling but none of them are knocking down my door so moving onward and upward. I would name them but I fear some of them might read this. When one of them figures out how rad I am I'll let you know :)
Love you buddy! Hope its a very fun week.
Love your favorite sister, Meg

How cute is he? The girls showed this to me last night at park city and I laughed and was won over immediately... darling! Kylee had a teacher conference (not all teachers only like 1 from each school- she is the best teacher ever!!!) and got this amazing suite that she shared with us :) (Rachelle, Chelsea & I). We met her at the outlets and I happily got a few things including a darling hat I'm wearing as I type. Then we went back to the hotel ordered pizza, got in jammies and had a big girl sleepover. I feel asleep in front of the fireplace, literally. It snowed lightly and it was pretty much magical. I even enjoyed the new Jonas Walmart soundtrack- 6 songs is the perfect amount. Wish I could love them as much as they do because I love those girls! Fun night.

On Sunday I went to chruch and the woman teaching although she had great intentions left many of us feeling yucky. Feelings of inadequacy, unworthiness and hopeless were felt as the tag line of the lesson was " it's all about presentation" ( aka- are you hot? if not no wonder you are single & you don't have a chance!)
Luckily we know better. Elder Jeffrey R Holland in his talk "To The Young Women" said,
"A woman not of our faith once wrote something to the effect that in her years of working with beautiful women she had seen several things they all had in common, and not one of them had anything to do with sizes and shapes. She said the loveliest women she had known had a glow of health, a warm personality, a love of learning, stability of character, and integrity. If we may add the sweet and gentle Spirit of the Lord carried by such a woman, then this describes the loveliness of women in any age or time, every element of which is emphasized in and attainable through the blessings of the gospel of Jesus Christ."
As someone who didn't get to pick her shape and metabolism I do get to pick who I am as a person. I choose to be a happy beautiful woman and not let satan, the world and media tell me the ugly lies that can so easily creep in.

For Andy who carried up my groceries last night and ended up staying and hanging out... we laughed, visited people and even watched a little bit of Justin! Dad who loves us and wants to things together as a family. We went to Brick Oven last night before he left on his 10 business trip. Mom who let a play a joke on her this week... it was way too fun! Hope- the emotion that keeps me going and ensures that all my wildest dreams will come true. Teaching: we had "movie day" today (we watched how flowers reproduce... not that exciting and did I mention I'm more immature then the kids?) and ate popcorn. I had several students that tell me they love me (I don't care if it was only because of the popcorn!) Zumba... I'm on my way right now!

I really miss my camera. It got stolen from my class room so therefore I have zero pics :( Maybe next month I'll get a new one.
Last night my roommate Kara dyed my hair darker. I forgot how great it is to have somebody play with my hair. It relaxes me like nothing else.... I almost fell asleep sitting in a chair in my kitchen. It's a fun change.
I don't think anything is really going on in my life or I'd give you an update.

Normally I'm the one who takes all the pics but... since my camera got stolen I have zero! Sad I know. I didn't really get ready all week except for this night so maybe we're glad there wasn't a camera :) These 2 dashing boys are Ladd and Andy. Jacob brought them and they were delightful.... kinda like brothers not like lovers. ( One day he'll come.... just wasn't any of those days). We laughed real hard and have some good inside jokes that are sure to last at least another 6 months.
Dang the weather! I wish I could've spent more time up on deck soaking in the sun had there been any. The hot tubs did treat us right though. It was an experience to room with the 3 brothers in a tiny room but it was fun. We ordered room service, watched movies, left our parents alone to there own room if you know what I mean and all in all had a good time.
Ready to try an all inclusive next :) Now I'm trying to decide what to plan next. I'll keep ya posted!

Today was professional development. This is what I learned about:
- How to measure fat on Cattle, Lambs and Pork
- How to tell if milk is bad for about 15 different reasons
- How to to if an egg is Grade A
- All about parliamentary procedure
- How to rate anthers ( deer, elk, moose)
- That there is a case of something bad going around utah where flys give this sickness to horses and it is way gross... yes pics did come out during lunch!
- That I don't know anything about Agriculture
- That I love the Ag department
That I will probably never teach that stuff.... I wasn't raised on a farm and I don't want to measure chicken's openings or know everything about how to slaughter an animal.

Football season is here!!! This is Steven Covey (yep, the grandson) who married my Emily (old roommate). He gets tickets and Emily brought me to the last game. I am the luckiest girl ever!!! not only a free ticket but I get to sit with her and the baby she is growing inside her tummy :)
Here is a little taste of what's been going on lately. Kelli blessed her twin boys on sunday so the crew got together for wicked yummy lunch after. It was great to all just be together. It doesn't happen often enough!
The next pics is the Gossip Girl crew... It's a TV show we get together and watch on Monday nights. Tom brought a little of the upper east class to the premier with campaign glasses and sparkling white grape :)
My new favorite workout it Zumba. Working it out and getting your Latin groove on is always a good time! I love the Latin women who go to the class so fun to watch and be apart of. I also went to my first Latin club last week with Hilary- RAD! I think I have a crush on latins even though there men tend to be short.

Can we say hot.... yes people he is beautiful :)
I'm so excited! Today one of my favorite friends (Jacob Pagel) asked if I had time to go to lunch. I always have time to go to lunch :) So we went to Cafe Rio where I saw 2 of my students and they both said hi to me and I felt pretty cool- they're on the football team and they are cool! We ate and I talked to him about training me. We start tomorrow- 10am at the Gold's Gym on 9th east baby. I'm excited to have someone to be accountable to and to kick my butt and to feel the burn of a good lifting workout. Hot, tight body here I come!

We did it! I'm feeling great.... moving around like normal today. Except for I have a big blister on my right foot so I'm being real careful not to put too much pressure on it. The Run was GEORGIOUS!!! The canyon is starting to change color and the weather was perfect. I ran past big red barns and happy open fields. We ended running through Logan neighborhood and ended at a great park. Jer, Preston and the girlies where waiting at the end and Jer took all of these pics ( thank you, thank you, thank you!!!) I didn't push myself too hard just really enjoyed my music, the sceanery, people and the run. Hilary came in first at 5:22, I came in second at 5:28 and dave came in shortly there after (we were shocked and thrilled we beat him!) Jeremy and Cory let us crash at there new house ( AWESOME, perfect dream house) and we went back showered grabbed some lunch and then drove home in time to watch the sad tail end of the BYU game. After last years marathon where we were rained on the whole time and are muscles cramped up I expected to not feel so good. After this yrs marathon I'm thinking these are't that big of a deal. Maybe one yr I'll really train and a real time until then I had expierence and would deffinantly do it again! Thanks for all the love and support!

After looking at past posts I'm usually complaining on my blog... so sorry. Today I'm celebrating and being ultra grateful for a few great things that have come my way. I have a condo under contract and that should cover the car and plumbing thing (talked about it in a recent post). Then I had the most amazing week at work and made an extra few hundred dollars. Then I forgot that I have a teaching check coming - Rad!!! So Hopefully I will be paying off my credit cards with in a month.... PARTY!!!!
Other great Things happening:
-Biggest loser starts tonight. My FAVORITE! when I do pay off credit cars I'm getting another personal trainer and I'm thrilled about that, I crave it. I need that accountability and the extra push a very in shape stranger can bring.
- Ran into Friends (Platt sisters) at the Olive Garden last night. Kylee and I had to go get soup after our rainy day and then I cuddeled up with my favorite blanket on my love sac that sits on my balcony and I watch the rain pour - it was amazing!
-Going on a bike ride with Mom tonight and Running Marathon with Dad on Saturday. Go active us go!
Life is good, REAL good.

A common theme in my life. Sad but true. Yesterday I threw an emotional girl fit. Made a boy come over that could comfort me, listened to break up music with Ky and got all weird and emotional. I'm better today. Much better. He still doesn't love me and that's okay. Maybe next time I realize it I won't have to throw a fit. No promises but I'm learning. I didn't call the rebound boy and that is good news. Learning process at its finest.
*** Special thanks to all the people who put up with emotional 24 yr old throwing her fit. You were just what I needed.

I'm living the good life! Dane came up with our theme song for a weekend. He is the one I'm feeding pasta too :) He lives with Brandon and Jacob... it the best, most fun apt. EVER!!! We decided Friday night that we we're really going to do this. We booked a hotel around midnight and planned to leave Saturday at 3pm. Here is how the weekend went:
-listened to the BYU game on the way down.... WE WON!!!!
-In & Out Burger
-Got Blue Man tickets (brandon was smooth and got us a military discount $55 for 2 row... not sad my friends, not sad!!)
- Cheesecake factory for dinner
- pool and sun
- ESPN zone
- Art exhibit at Bellagio where we met and talked with sculpter
- Gellato in Paris
- won a free deck of playing cards
- watched the fountain show
- Blue man group show
- Went dancing!!! :) club Rok in New york, new york
- Hooters at 3:30 am for $0.25 wings (meet wayne brady there)
- Drive home with a stop in St. George for brick oven lunch
It was fun to be young and single this weekend. We worked the stip.... as much as you can for a bunch of mormon sober kids hitting up Vegas. We laughed until we cried several times a day. The girl with Jacob is the lovely Andrea, (girlfriend) I really like her! She is intellegent and easy going and fun - it was great to get to know her better.
The club was fantastic! A boy was hitting on me (wish I knew his real name - we've made up about 20) and used every line in the book to try and win me over. Both Brandon and Dane protected me like there little girl. As I started dancing with him Brandon came over tapped him on the sholder and told him he could dance with me but no grinding, freaking and not to try anything.... Brandon was a great fake boyfriend the rest of the night. A girl we met commented on how cute is was how protective they were being. I'm pretty much the luckiest girl ever.
Defiantly a weekend to remember and as far as giving them something to talk about I won't post that here but lets just say.... we conquered our mission :)

These pics showed up on facebook today thanking the "mystery girls" who did this to there door. Jacob and Brandon weren't having the best day ever and went to on a Man date (that means we hate women night) at the movies. Ky and I decided that we'd restore there faith in women. I think we did it :) So grateful for single fun friends. I think Ky and I had the most fun writing our inside jokes and pick up lines all over the hearts. Good times in single life
*** I love all my married friends too but when most of your friends are married its extra important to have single friends.

I LOVE teaching!!! I have so much fun... too much fun with my students. They are such great kids. I'm constantly impressed by how well they treat the special needs girl. They include her and root her on. They are super creative and come up with fun flare and finishing touches to there projects. I am inspired to be better to live up to there level. They have so much fun energy and I just love being there. Bonus - they pay me to do it :)

I went and saw 500 days of summer... AWESOME! It's a must see. I loved how well it was written and it made me laugh and it was brilliant. I can't wait to see it again. Ky and I went to the 4:50pm showing. Nothing better then a good movie.
Then I came home and went on a long walk with Dave. Mostly he listen while I vented about life and things I'm worried about. After he listened for a long time he gave some great advice. I really respect him and for some reason will listen to him and actually take things to heart that he says. I need it and am so grateful for such a great friend.

Just what a girl needs after a frustrating day. Poker Night was awesome. We went to Guru's, sat outside and ate sweet potato fries along with our yummy meals. The girl couldn't figure out the register so I said it's ok... I don't need the fires. Then Jacob ordered me some by surprise! What a good guy! Then it was time to get serious! Brandon Showed up in looking amazing and Jacob was a good sport to wear the devil headband. Right in the middle of playing poker Michael Bubble started signing and Brandon stood up and grabed my hand and started twirling me (I've always had this dream that, that would happen). It ended with the 4 of us all dancing together. We had way to much fun even though I lost and have to make dinner on Sunday. Ky was the second loser so she's making dessert. Then we had an impromptu dance party and we still got in bed around 11. It was pretty much magical! Great Night, Great friends... LOVE these people!!!

Just when I'm seeing the light at the end of the debt tunnel I get hit by a motorcycle who doesn't have insurance and says I turned into him. I was completely stopped when he made a wide turn into my lane and hit me head on- hurting my cars bumper, side panel, head light and hood. It was confirmed today that he has no insurance. That was followed by a call from my insurance agent letting me know he has an attorney involved and he is planning on suing me... awesome. Then yesterday I get a knock on my door from the cute couple who live beneath me saying they have water damage from something leaking in my utility closet. So creditors you get your wish more money will get put on the card instead of being payed off this month. I wanna cry right now but won't because I'm at work. Maybe when I go home. Oh... did I mention I caught a really bad cold?
Good news: School went really well today the kids we're interacting and and I planned the perfect amount. My friends and family still like me and I'm not a complete failure.

I taught my first high school class. It didn't go very well. The students we're great to be patient but I was a nervous and had too much time in my first class and not enough time in my second class. Not to mention I think they think I'm crazy and don't know what I'm doing ( and they're right). I also wrote up a real estate contract- hope it gets accepted. I'm tired... no, exhausted physically, and emotionally. Can't wait to the comfort of sleep
